Why Perfect Kalachuchi ?

A sweet yet spicy smell tickles my nose as I walk through the garden of my childhood home.  Scents of citrus, jasmine, bananas, coconut, ginger, and spices create the intoxicating fragrance of the Kalachuchi growing abundantly around me. A smile forms on my lips as I am reminded of Perfecto, the man that tended to his plants. Trees of various heights display blooms of white, yellow, pink, orange, purple, and red. Their beauty still amazes me and a sense of pride overcomes me as I pick some blooms to bring to his resting place.

Kalachuchi is the Tagalog word for Plumeria. Over the years, my father collected and cultivated several types of Plumeria that continue to grow each year. Growing up, Dad called them Kalachuchi . . . Perfecto’s Kalachuchi . . . Perfect Kalachuchi!

We share the beauty of the Kalachuchi blooms and ONLY the blooms in our designs. Photographs taken by Perfecto and his children have become the inspiration behind the designs for the shirts and clothing for Perfect Kalachuchi.  Thank you for visiting!   Wear your Kalachuchi proudly!

Just the Blooms

All our designs will feature a variety of kalachuchi blooms. Some photos will date back to 2005 when we started displaying them around our home,

Kalachuchi blooms in various colors create a heart shape around the gravestone of site creator's father named Perfecto

Always dedicated to Perfecto

We visit him as often as we can and bring him Kalchuchi when they are in bloom.

We thank him for planting them and for teaching us how to care for them.
